You sigh and walk over to your living room window. It was sunny in (Place), the total opposite of what you felt.
Exactly a week ago you had confronted your boyfriend, Alfred, on why he was spending so much time with some bimbo. He had then explained- er well, more like bragged that she was the love of his life and the two of you were done.
You laugh bitterly at that thought, that's the exact same way you two had become a couple. He dumped his previous girlfriend for you, saying the exact same thing. Well, once a player always a player.
You look over at the clock on the wall to see its 1:20pm. Your eyes widened and you dashed out your door, grabbing your keys, wallet, and phone.
"Why the hell did I lose track of time!" You yelled while dodging pedestrians, "If I'm late again Arthur will never forgive me!"
Arthur. That's someone who's always despised your Ex-boyfriend even though they're brothers. He even warned you about him, but you were to lovestruck to believe him.
Now that you think about it, were you ever truly in love with Alfred? Or were you just trying to make Arthur jealous?
A blush makes its way to your face. Most people would've thought it was because you're running, but you knew different.
Arthur always had that effect on you. That and making your insides get all fluttery you thought you were going to pass out.
"Maybe I was just trying to make him jealous. But, why am I sad about Alfred and I's relationship being over?" You wondered out loud at a light signal, seeing the tea shop you and Arthur go to just across the street.
"Well dearie, maybe you gained feelings for the other boy too, hmm?" You gasp and turn around to see a little old lady looking at you through her winkled eyes.
"I- I don't know, Alfred was a good boyfriend up until that point."
The little old lady 'hm's' before asking, "What was Alfred like?"
You bite your lip and look over at the signal, telling you to stay put. You frown before looking at the old lady.
"Alfred was very sweet at first, opening doors for me, surprising me with gifts and hugs; he had even taken me to my favorite bands concert for my birthday. But then he changed when he started seeing someone else behind my back." You looked at the ground, feeling a tear fall from your eyes.
"I'm sorry dearie. Now, please tell me what this Arthur boy is like." Your emotions had done a complete 180 at the sound of Arthur's name.
"Well, for starters he's really nice, a true gentleman even though he's a rocker. His accent is absolutely adorable when he talks, but when he sings, it's impossible to not blush. He's always going out of his way to make me happy, he'll randomly buy me things even if he isn't sure I'll like them. Oh, and he always calls me 'Love'."
The little old lady smiles, "You should tell your feelings to Arthur dearie, I can promise you he feels the same. Now go, you don't want to be late to meet him, hm?"
You turn around and see the light meter has a dotted man walking. You smile and turn back around, intending to thank the old lady but she's out of sight.
You look around, still not finding her anywhere. You shrug and run across the street, calming yourself before entering the tea shop.
You look around and spot Arthur casually sipping his tea. You smile slightly and begin to walk over, only to be yanked by the wrist and out of the tea shop. You would've yelled Arthur's name, but your kidnaper had his hand around your mouth, and it smelt like hamburgers
You're dragged down an alley before being let go. Alfred stands in front of you, blocking the entrance (and exit).
"Alfred, why the hell am I here? Why aren't you with
whatever her name is?" You glare at Alfred and lean against the alley wall, crossing your arms.
He smirks and leans forward so your faces are inches apart, "Because babe, I want you back."
You laugh and lean back, unconsciously pressing yourself against the wall. "I highly doubt that Alfred. You said you were in love with her and ended our relationship. Now please move, I don't want to be late for my date with Arthur."
You try to move past Alfred, but apparently what you had said upset him. He roughly grabs your arm and slams you up against the wall.
"I don't think so babe." He growls. Your eyes widen when you see his own change to red and his hair darkens to a brown.
" Your eyes stare into his crimson ones as you begin to shake.
He chuckles darkly as his grasp on your wrist tightens to a bruising point, "What's wrong (Name)? Scared?!"
He yanks you forward and you hear a pop. You begin to scream but Alfred covers your mouth again.
"Oh no you don't, we wouldn't want to alarm the British jerk you're in pain, would we?" He grins darkly as he gazes into your quivering (color) orbs.
"Sorry chap, but I was 'alarmed' when you forced her down this alley." A familiar voice calls from the entrance of the ally.
"Arthur!" You shouted, looking past Alfred's shoulder to see the gentlemanly British punk standing at the entrance of the alley.
"Now, just leave (Name) be and you won't get hurt." Alfred laughed at that.
"Oh? And who says you won't be the one getting hurt brother!" Alfred threw you against the wall and dashed to Arthur, a nailed bat in his hands.
As you slamed into the wall, you heard a sickening crunch. You slide down the wall, skidding your arm.
You sit down and draw your knees up to your chest, cradling your right arm. You close your eyes as a few tears slip from your eyes because of the pain.
"Love?" You glance up and see Arthur kneeling down in front of you, "Don't worry, that git won't bother you anymore."
Arthur grabs you gently and cradles you in his arms as you hear sirens in the distance.
You look over at Alfred's limp body, wondering what happened to him. Why he became this
"Love?" You carry your tired eyes to look at Arthur's smiling face, "I know this isn't really the best time but I love you."
You return his smile and lean against his chest, "I love you too, Arthur."
"Excuse me, ma'am?" You and Arthur look up to see an officer standing above both of you.
The officer tips his hat, "We'll need you to come with us. The paramedics need to fix your arm and check to see if you have any other wounds."
You nod and begin to stand, only to fall back into Arthur's lap. "Sorry love, but I'm going to carry you."
He stands and nods at the officer. He walks out of the alley and into the street harboring many cars. He walks over to the ambulance before gently placing you on the stretcher.
The medics leave Alfred's side to tend to you. You raise your eyebrow as Arthur smirks over at Alfred's body. He winks at you before walking over to his brother's body.
He looks at it, glances around, and kicks it. You begin laughing as he casually walks his way back over to you, whistling a cheery tune.
Yep, he's your Gentlemanly punk.
